The "Supporting Parents and Educators in Uncertain Times" e-module focuses on science-based information and strategies to support parents and educators of young children in times of uncertainty and stress. The pandemic has had a significant impact on both children, parents, and educators with very few resources for caregivers on how to address these new challenges in ways that are beneficial to the development of children and their own health and wellbeing. The course will help participants understand the challenges caregivers are facing, what it means in the early years of the development of children, why it matters, what can be done and how to respond. The lessons learned during the pandemic can be used during any challenging and uncertain times.

This course will help you:

Early Childhood Development in a Time of Pandemic Series:

Families Canada and the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development offered an 'Early Childhood Development in a Time of Pandemic' webinar series in response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. This webinar series is now being offered as an e-module course series, focusing on providing evidence-based information to support young children’s resilience and recovery. Certificates of participation will be provided to those who complete the course.
